A huge mistake by Grocott's Mail Eleven Attackers has seen the former number two placed side drop down to fourth spot on the log.

Eleven Attackers are one of two Grahamstown teams playing in the South African Football Association Cacadu SAB League. Attackers were scheduled to play Mighty Forest in Port Alfred last week, but the team travelled to Alexandria, where they thought their game was.

As a result they missed their game and lost on soft points. City Pirates, Grahamstown's other soccer team in the Cacadu league, have now taken over second spot on the log, behind Young Chiefs.

In their match on Saturday, City Pirates beat the log leaders, Young Chiefs, by four goals to two. Young Chiefs are on top with 15 points, while City Pirates are second with 14 points. Attackers have 12 points. Both teams play away games this week.
