Achieving seven distinctions and being listed in the top 1% of the national results in six of her subjects was Abigail Branford. Branford also got an outstanding 98% for one of her Maths papers. David Viviers also got seven distinctions and was listed in the top 1% of the results for four of his subjects.
Branford and Viviers both hail from the Garden Route town of George. Lauren Ah Yui, from Somerset East, achieved eight distinctions, and her Life Sciences result of 88% was in the top 1% of the IEB overall results for the subject. Jade Hilton, from Port Alfred, achieved seven distinctions, and Jessica Harris from the Bathurst farming district, six. Grahamstonian Warwick Bradfield scored 99% for one of his maths papers and was also placed in the top 1% of the IEB national results for the subject, scoring five distinctions overall.
Kingswood College principal, Jon Trafford, said, “We are delighted with our results and congratulate our pupils and the staff. We are very proud of Abigail Branford and David Viviers especially, but many of our pupils have achieved outstanding results. We are especially thrilled with our Maths results and the many pupils who have achieved distinctions in a wide range of subjects.”
