Continuing its professional approach to the security industry in Grahamstown, Hi-Tec Security earlier this month acquired seven new Chevrolet Corsa 1400cc bakkies, in new livery, to augment its fleet of armed response vehicles.
Continuing its professional approach to the security industry in Grahamstown, Hi-Tec Security earlier this month acquired seven new Chevrolet Corsa 1400cc bakkies, in new livery, to augment its fleet of armed response vehicles.
At the handover of the seven new cars by Dean Kent of Kenrich Motors, Hi-Tec CEO Andrew Butters said his company’s number-one priority was to provide and maintain first-class service to customers. “To this end, Hi-Tec deploys four vehicles on any given shift; we are one of few companies in the country to have two armed personnel per vehicle,” said Butters.
Hi-Tec general manager Andre Wille stressed the fact that all Hi-Tec staff members – armed response personnel, security guards and control room staff – receive ongoing training by professionals in their respective fields.
The state-of-the-art Hi-Tec control room has been built, secured and equipped to South African Intruder Detection Services Association (SAIDSA) standards, and is fully-secured with CCTV cameras, concrete roof, fireproof door and bulletproof window introduced to ensure its security in all eventualities.
“The control room is the heart of the company’s operations,” said Wille. Wille invited customers and prospective customers to inspect Hi-Tec’s facilities, vehicles and staff if they so wished. “We are fully-confident they will be suitably impressed by what they see.”
