    Willows Cricket Club elects new execs

    The Willows Cricket Club recently held their AGM in Grahamstown to select their office bearers for the 2010/2011 cricket season. The club are competing in the Grahamstown Cricket Board first league and their aim is to win the league this season.

    The Willows Cricket Club recently held their AGM in Grahamstown to select their office bearers for the 2010/2011 cricket season. The club are competing in the Grahamstown Cricket Board first league and their aim is to win the league this season.

    There are also a number of players representing the Eastern Province rural side and a member of the club has been selected for the South African Rural team last season.

    Dennis Stuurman were re-elected as President of the Club, with Jannie Coltman as the Vice-President, Clinton Gill the Treasurer and Chesley Daniels the Secretary/Public Relations Officer.

    The additional executive members will consists of Gerald Bloem, Leon Coetzee, Gary Frazer, Thomas Haywood, Percival Brooks, Jonathan Walton and Zenephan May.

    Leon Coetzee and Thomas Haywood will be the team managers, while Melville Daniels will captain the side and Lucius Jordaan is the Vice Captain.

    Willows will practice from Monday to Wednesday at Rhodes and on Thursday at Kingswood College.
