    Robbers arrested

    Two 18-year-olds were arrested  in the early hours of Wednesday morning for aggravated robbery. They robbed and stabbed a man in M Street, stealing his tracksuit top, on Friday 24 September.

    Two 18-year-olds were arrested  in the early hours of Wednesday morning for aggravated robbery. They robbed and stabbed a man in M Street, stealing his tracksuit top, on Friday 24 September.

    Drivers arrested

    On Tuesday evening, in two separate incidents, two drivers were arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol. The first man was arrested in African Street and the second man was arrested on the N2 near Miki Yili Stadium.

    Cable and copper thefts

    Two incidents of cable theft have been reported to the police. The first one happened at Wolseley Street on 20 September where copper piping to the value of R2200 was stolen and the second was in Extension 6 in the early hours of Sunday where electric cables worth R1000 were stolen. No arrests have been made.

    Stock theft

    Six sheep, of which one was killed and left behind, were stolen from a farm outside Grahamstown between 30 September and 5 October. No arrests have been made. Theft out of motor vehicle A car radio and a memory stick were removed from a car parked in Ayliff Street. It is believed that the theft took place between 6pm on Tuesday and 5.45am on Wednesday. No arrests have been made.
