Singer, songwriter and entertainer, Nataniël will be performing with his full band on Friday 10 September at the Guy Butler Theatre.

Nataniël recently released his first studio album in three years entitled OH and is on a nationwide tour, introducing audiences to his new creation as well as performing some old favourites.

Nataniel launched his first single called “Maybe time” in 1987 and has since become an established producer, director, designer, playwright and public speaker.

He is considered as a controversial figure of South African entertainment being an outspoken, homosexual Christian performing for largely Christian, Afrikaans audiences.

With his eccentric style and personality he has generated an extensive following. Nataniël records with his own independent record label, “Nataniel House of Music” and has released 14 albums to date.

He recently put on the stage productions The Moses Machine and Cathedral a journey on the history and artistic and spiritual development of places of worship, which were both warmly received.

Friday night’s concert will feature highlights from these productions as well as some new and old songs, combined with stories and comedy skits in English and Afrikaans.

The acclaimed performer has also developed Kaalkop, a manufacturing company which produces a range of lifestyle  products.

He designs these products himself, ranging from luxury cushions and aprons printed with quotes or stories to soaps and candles.

He also has passion for food and has released three best-selling cookbooks. The products will all be on sale at the performances and at lifestyle shows.

The concert in Grahamstown will be in aid of Somerset Place Retirement and Frail Care Centre and there will be a hamper of Kaalkop products up for grabs.

It has been 11 years since Nataniël’s last tour so don't miss out on a night to be remembered. Bookings are open at www.computicket.com and the concert starts at 8pm.
