By September Grahamstonians will be able to enjoy fresh seafood and sushi without leaving town. The new
expansions to the Pepper Grove Mall have provided the space for new tenants Fish Tales, a seafood restaurant and take-away, and Twing, an up-and-coming sushi restaurant, to tantalise the Grahamstown palate with fantastic fishy fare.

Toni Twynham, the proprietor of Twing, says that her aim for the sushi bar is to offer a healthy eating alternative in Grahamstown. “We have a trained Filipino chef,” says Twynham.

All fish will also be sourced directly from certified providers in Cape Town and will be priced affordably for the consumers’ pocket. “Twing is expected to open during the first week of September,” says Twynham.

Fish Tales, owned by Clive Wulsohn, is an expansion from his self-started chain of fish restaurants and take-aways which have been a great success in Port Elizabeth for over 15 years.

Wulsohn says the move to Grahamstown was a longterm plan. “Fish Tales offers oldstyle meals wrapped in newspaper especially printed for the takeaways,” says Wulsohn.

The restaurant will offer prawns, paella, calamari and other tasty delights to stir up the Grahamstown palate.

“Fish Tales offers good value relaxed meals and will be opening at the beginning of October with the take-aways section, followed two weeks later by the restaurant,” says Wulsohn.
