The Kleinemonde community will be holding a 5km fun run in Kleinemonde (about 20km outside Port Alfred on the East London road), on 10 July.

The fun run is in aid of Grahamstown athlete, Terri-Lynn Penney’s trip to Budapest where she will be representing South Africa at the 2010 Dextro Energy Triathlon ITU World Championship Grand Final in September.

The fun run will start from the Kleinemonde cafe and registration takes place from 8.30am with the fun run starting at 9am. Entry fee is R20. For more information contact Karin on 072 416 0131.

Penney was selected for the South African team after representing Eastern Province at the SA triathlon champs in Johannesburg earlier this year. Each SA team member needs to cover the full trip themselves.
