The local Department of Sports, Recreation, Arts and Culture (DSRAC) were the main organisers of the league
and would like to thank the club officials, Makana Municipality and the Makana Local Football Association for their support.

Last weekend’s results – Saturday Newtown City 1-1 Chelsea Lingelihle Football Stars 1-1 Future Stars Junior Stars 1-2 Mighty Chiefs United Fighters 2-4 Italy City Pirates 5-0 Sakhu-lutsha Eleven Attackers 0-7 Young Killers Sunday Newtown City 1-3 Future Stars Chelsea 0-1 Mighy Chiefs Lingelihle Football Stars 2-1 Italy Junior Stars 3-2 Sakhulutsha City Angels 0-2 Young Killers City Pirates 4-0 Eleven Attackers City Angels 1-2 Italy The junior league produced a spectacular total of 45 goals over just one weekend.

Mighty Chiefs is currently topping the league with 24 points, having played nine matches, winning
eight matches and losing just one.

Young Killers, who impressed by beating Sakhulutsha by 10-1 last weekend, is holding the second position with 19 points after six wins, a single draw and a loss in eight matches.

Killers have already proven to be a power house at goals, having scored a total of 34 goals since the start of the season.

In third place is City Pirates who won both their weekend encounters scoring an impressive seven goals without conceding.

Out of eight games, Pirates have gathered 17 points from five victories, two draws and one loss. At the opposite end of the log in 12th and 13th place are United Fighters and Newtown City who are yet to gain victory in the league.
