    Rhodes University Shotokan gradings

    Twelve members of the Rhodes University Shotokan Karate Club were successful at recent gradings and achieved the following results: Yellow belt Kamohelo Bodibe, Eva-Maria Burford, Hannah Kirkaldy, Leroy
    Maisiri, Ntombomzi Mtikitiki, Tim Thring and Tebogo Malatsi Orange belt Daygan Eagar and Wade Basson.

    Green belt David Li. Purple belt Kevin Aitchison and Tavonga Shoko. The Rhodes University Shotokan Karate Club is planning to field a strong team to participate in the South African Shotokan Karate Academy East Coast Karate Open Championships which will take place at the Fish River Sun Hotel and Country Club Resort on 28 August.
