On Sunday Young Killers faced Sakhulutsha in an U15 Makana Local Football League clash at JD Dlepu Stadium. In the early stages of the game, Killers were already on the attack and fortunately were awarded a brilliant goal scored by Olwethu Fleck.

Not long after, an attempt at a goal by Killers was blocked by the Sakhulutsha goalie. Seven minutes later, Luvo Crisjan made it 2–0 to his side, scoring creatively from midfield.
Minutes later, Sinethemba Vamba of the Killers surprised their opponent with a chip over the goalie.Sakhulutsha were kept off their feet by the paceful Killers side through out the first half.
Baphelele Ziqwayi stretched the lead for his side with a goal before halftime. Not long after, Killers were awarded a penalty kick, which goalkeeper Mziyanda Bhekwa narrowly missed.
The half time score was 4-0 to Killers. Avuyile Mani netted his own in the early stages of the second half. Baphele was on the attack again, but this time he was open with the goalkeeper when he scored the sixth goal.
Baphelele was on fire as he went through the opponents’ defence to net-in the seventh goal for his side. Another goal by Fleck in the middle of the second half took his side to an 8–0 lead.
A foul committed by Sakhulutsha defender Unathi Matiwane in the 18 yard line costed them a penalty kick which fortunately was saved by the goalie.
The illusive Baphelele scored another goal making it 9-0 for Killers. Not long after, Baphelele missed an opportunity to make it 10 for his side, when his shot at goal went narrowly off target.
Within 10 minutes before the end of the game,Sakhulutsha were awarded a 10th goal and Sakhulutsha brought one back in the dying minutes, bringing the final score to 10-1.
Winning coach Mxolisi Dlengezele says “My boys played well today, they really had a good match but they dropped their focus in the last minutes of the match. We are trying by all means to produce good results and with our hard training I am sure we will score goals.”
