Participating clubs included Kowie (Port Alfred), Dynamic (Port Alfred), Kenton-on-Sea, Adelaide, Fort Beaufort, Yellowwoods School (Adelaide), Albany, Joza, Makana, and Rhodes University all of Grahamstown.

Albany Karate Academy lead the medal  standings with a total of 33 medals (14 gold and 19 silver. They are followed by Makana with five gold and  three silver, Rhodes are third with four golds and one silver while Joza have four gold and one silver.
