From 8 to 10 April, independent schools from around the country will be playing in the hockey festival. The matches will be played on the St Andrew’s Webster astro turf as well as the Kingswood College City Lords Astro.

St Albans from Johannesburg, Michaelhouse from the KwaZulu-Natal Midlands, Bishops from Cape Town, St Stithians from Johannesburg, Grey from Port Elizabeth, St Andrew’s School from Bloemfontein, York from George Western Cape and St Davids from Johannesburg will all be visiting Grahamstown, which will be represented by Kingswood and St Andrew’s.

For the first time in a number of years both the U16 and the first team festivals will take place in the same town, allowing for more hockey, and the emerging talent attempting to emulate their senior players.

A number of provincial as well as national squad members will be part of the festival, as they represent their schools.
