Kingswood College is holding a 20+, 30+ and 40-year high school reunion this weekend. The 40-year reunion is a special event as apartheid activist Neil Aggett, one of the first white men to die in detention, matriculated at Kingswood in 1970.

Kingswood College is holding a 20+, 30+ and 40-year high school reunion this weekend. The 40-year reunion is a special event as apartheid activist Neil Aggett, one of the first white men to die in detention, matriculated at Kingswood in 1970.

The weekend will begin with registration of alumni at the Wyvern Club on Friday afternoon followed by the Neil Aggett Memorial Lecture in the Kingswood Chapel at 5pm.The evening will end off with a welcoming steak braai also at the Wyvern Club.

Saturday sees the Old Kingswoodian Club AGM followed by the reunion photograph, a tea, past versus present cricket and tennis matches, a tour of the Kingswood Campus and the Wyvern Dinner where guest speaker David Papenfus, a 1980 Kingswood graduate and Supersport presenter will address the alumni.

The weekend will close on Sunday after the Foundation Day Chapel Service and more tea on Cops Lawn.
