St Andrew’s College will host the U15 Independent Schools Cricket Festival which starts in Grahamstown
today.

Kingswood College and Graeme College will also be taking part in the tournament, while other schools include St Stithian’s, St Davids, St Charles, St Alban’s, St Andrew’s Bloemfontein, St John’s College and Clifton.

Teams arrived in Grahamstown yesterday, but matches start at 9am today, at various school cricket fields in town. The festival continues over the weekend and ends with the final matches on Monday.

Today and tomorrow’s games will be played over a minimum of 120 overs, with at least 100 overs to be bowled before 4:30pm.

Sunday’s matches will be 50 overs while Monday’s match times will be decided by the opposing coaches.
