Grahamstown-born musician Unathi Nkayi is coming home to perform for the very first time. She will begin her nationwide tour in Grahamstown on 26 February.

It promises to be a night to remember with a surprise celebrity guest performer. Unathi has shared the stage with many musical icons such as John Legend, Seal, Freshly Ground and others.

Having matriculated at Victoria Girls’ High School and graduated from Rhodes University, Unathi is excited to begin her tour in Grahamstown.

“It only makes sense for me to start the tour here and honour my home city as it is here I started to dream and was given the tools to become the woman I am today.”

The performance will take place at the Guy Butler Theatre at the 1820 Settlers Monument. The doors open at 7.30pm with the show starting at 8.30pm.

Tickets are available at VGHS and at the door. Tickets for students (with students cards) and learners (in uniform) cost R50 and adults R60.
