Local entrepreneur Andrew Hutchinson will be putting his talent as an auctioneer to work on Saturday 20 February  in HP Auction’s next livestock and loose goods auction.

HP Auctions, a branch of Hutch Properties, has been hosting monthly auctions since its launch in August 2009.

In December they raised R13 000 in funds for their hosts, the Manley Flats Cricket Club. Visitors can expect to find a variety of loose goods, farming implements, motor vehicles (including a caravan) and livestock.

Stock will range from Nguni bulls to slaughter stock such as pigs and goats. Ten miniature goats will also be up for auction.

After some shopping, adults can enjoy a beer and watch the Manley Flats second cricket team play. The
younger members of the family can have some fun on the jumping castle and breathe in some fresh country air.

If you get hungry the cricket club will be providing food and drinks, including a spitbraai. The auction starts at 10am at Manley Flats’ Stock Pens off the R67 towards Port Alfred.

This event promises to combine a family day out in the country with some great shopping opportunities. Anyone wishing to submit goods for auction should contact Hutchinson via Hutch Properties offices or email him at andrew@hutchproperties.co.za.
