    Grahamstown local tragically killed

    A single-vehicle accident occurred in the early hours of Sunday on the road between Grahamstown and Port Alfred, killing Carlo Cassels (25), a Department of Labour employee.

    A single-vehicle accident occurred in the early hours of Sunday on the road between Grahamstown and Port Alfred, killing Carlo Cassels (25), a Department of Labour employee.

    The scene, as reported by the Provincial Hospital, occurred near the Coldstream spring on the Port Alfred
    road. The Provincial Hospital reported that the two passengers who were in the car with Cassels were
    sent to Settler’s Hospital with minor injuries.

    Cassel’s funeral will be held on Saturday, 13 February.
