    The Absa women’s soccer league, Cacadu section, scheduled to take place in Hankey this past weekend, was postponed due to a number of teams not being fully registered.

    Organisers of the Cacadu league have given teams one week to register their sides. The matches were postponed to this weekend, again in Hankey.

    Grahamstown women’s soccer side, African Connections go into the league as defending champsions, after winning the first Absa women;’s league in the 2008/2008 season.

    African Connections will face Alexandria Bay on Saturday and then meet Red Stars from Bathurst on Sunday.
