Swallows Cricket Club beat Kenton Cricket Club by 23 runs at Seven Fountains on Saturday, during a Grahamstown Cricket Board 2nd league fixture match.

Swallows batted first and struggled to get a good defendanble total. They were bundled out for 109. The only batsman to trouble the bowlers was Kurt Loots with a valubale 44 runs.

Ashwell van Rensburg was the pick of the bowlers getting rid of the ever dangerous Luvane Daniels for five. Kenton fought hard to get their maiden win over Swallows but fell short of the target, as they made 86 all out.
