The final of the Albany Night Bowls tournament will take place on Friday, 6 November and not tonight as previously advertised.
Gwen Bartlett, organiser of the night bowls, announced this week that due to Tuesday night’s games not being played due to the hail storm and heavy rains, the final will now take place next week.
After the three groups have played their group games, the 12 teams with the most points will take part in the finals.
While Bartlett said it is difficult to say who has made the finals so far, she said Dup Meyer Builders are through as they went through the group games unbeaten.
Next week’s final will start at 6.30pm and the club will have a steak evening during and after the final matches, as well as the prizegiving function.
