Last year’s winners, Benjamin Mahlasela finished in the last spot while the winners of the inaugural event in 2007, Ntsika, finished fourth.

The league started with seven teams but ended with six due to Nathaniel Nyaluza losing their spot in the league due to missing most of their scheduled matches in the second round.
