    Comrades entries update

    Since entries for the 85th anniversary of the Comrades Marathon opened last week, the CMA office has been a buzz of activity.

    As of yesterday the entry number stood at 4 425. Entries for previous Comrades finishers, capped at 15 000, close on 31 October.
    On 1 November, entries will open for novices and will close on 30 November, capped at 5 000 athletes.

    Runners may enter now, and submit a qualifying time and their 2010 license details to the CMA offices at a later stage. The majority of entries received, has been via the website www.comrades.com, and at Mr Price outlets.
