Rhodes Squash Club  recently took part in the University Sports South Africa Squash Championships at the University of Johannesburg.
The Rhodes A team finished 8th overall in the A section, while the B team took 3rd spot in the B section.
John Godlonton, Rhodes Squash Club chairman, said it was a “Fantasic tournament”, and made special mention of Rhodes number one Garren Kent, a 1st year student, who just missed out on a selection into the USSA top 6 side for 2009.

Rhodes were once again nominated for the Mike Gardener Fellowship trophy but finished second to a spirited Stellies side.
