Every year the Rotary Club of Grahamstown and Hospice combine to celebrate the Story of Christmas at the Cathedral of St Michael and St George.

This year the pageant will be held on Tuesday 22 November at 7 pm.

Rotarians and children dramatise the timeless message of the birth of Jesus.

There are Bible readings, singing of well-loved carols, not forgetting the Nativity tableau itself.

Young children are invited to participate; costumes will be provided!

After the tableau is completed the congregation moves out on to Church Square to sing Joy to the World and see the switching on of the Tree of Light (which reminds us of the message of hope and light associated with Christmas).
