Willows won the toss and elected to bat, posting 225 for nine in their allotted 50 overs. '
Abner Accom (28 runs) and Alveno Douglas (27) got their side off to a solid start, putting up 61 runs for the first wicket, before Jordaan and Luvane Daniels shared a 70 run partnership.
For Makana, newcomer Thandi Ncapayi took 4/42, while Lunga Stamper contributed with 2/30.
In their run chase, Makana got off to a flying start and put the Willows opening bowlers under severe pressure early on.
They put up 70 runs in just 10 overs.
But Willows hit back and took wickets at regular intervals.
Xolisa Booi made 45 runs for Makana Sona with Thato Ngqowana making 48. Accom took the two last wickets in the end, to secure his side's five run victory.
Makana made 220 all out in 48.2 overs.
