All roads led to the Joza Indoor Sports Centre on Saturday as the Joza Aerobics and Fitness Club hosted a FitFest.

Teams came from all over the province to take part in the event, which had all the ingredients of becoming a bumper show.

Fitness clubs such as Health, Changing Times, Comm, Ekasi, Elomhle, Siya M, Max Gym,TeeGom and M.Y. shared the stage.

Senior instructor and event organiser, Nomawethu “Sweshy” Simama, was pleased with how the event went. “This was a huge success and my highlight of the day was to see an 11-year-old boy taking centre stage and taking the participants through their paces. This young boy is a product of my own hands.”

Amaphiko Dancers rocked the event and got everyone on their feet with their energetic dance moves that left the audience shouting for more.

A lot of the participants showered the organisers with praises.

    Simama thanked the participants.

“I would like to thank all the clubs that came through, instructors, my club Joza Aerobics and Fitness Club for the support. I would also like to thank all those who have contributed to the success of this event.”
