    Electrifying action on St Andrew’s College’s basketball courts

    This past weekend, the St Andrew’s College Basketball Club proudly hosted Kingswood College, Queen’s College, and DSG in a festive basketball triangular. The day was packed with thrilling basketball action, close games, and an electric atmosphere that kept everyone on the edge of their seats.

    The 1st Team faced off against both Queen’s College and Kingswood College in highly contested matches that provided the perfect preparation for their upcoming tour. Each opposing team challenged the St Andrew’s College squad, placing them in uncomfortable positions that required them to dig deep and rally back into the games.

    The final match of the day was between the St Andrew’s College and Kingswood College 1st Teams. With St Andrew’s College trailing 11-17 at halftime and momentum firmly in Kingswood College’s favour, the St Andrew’s College crowd rallied behind their team with some stellar war cries. The 1st Team answered the call, returning to the court with renewed energy and confidence that shifted the momentum in their favour.

    In a remarkable comeback, the boys turned the game around and clinched a fantastic victory with a final score of 36-27. It was a brilliant ending to a day filled with hard-fought battles and team spirit. Well done to all the players for their outstanding performances and teamwork! The St Andrew’s College Basketball Club emerged from the triangular without a single loss.
