(The imbongi is of the view that to vote is the opportunity that was once not available to many citizens. He mentions a few registered parties in Makhanda. The imbongi is reminding people about voting day on 1 November.)

Nalo ke itshoba elingalali mbethe

Ndiyalijiwuzisa iminyaka le phakathi kwenu

Ndipheth’igqudu ndihlanganisa ngentla nangezantsi

Koko anindibonanga nakaloku nje

Yhini na madoda nazimfama sikhangele kuni?

Ndinibiza ngabom nje ndenza ngabom

Kuba sasikho mhla ngentlupheko

Mhla yalal’indwe phezu kwenye indwe

Kuvaliwe ilungelo lingekho

Kungu hikihiki! Hukuhuku!

Khongolose siyakuhlonipha

Poqo sisa kuhloniphile

Gxebe nani bandla likaBiko

Nawo onke amahlakani enkululeko

Njengoko niwazi nendingawabizanga ayaziwa

Waaaa! Makhanda sikujonge ngamehlo amakhulu!

Isaphila madoda iANC ingaqali kwaye isatsho

Ithi iphethe inkululeko leyo kwantlandlolo

Bayolatha kolatheke ke

Hambani madoda namankazana sinijongile

Nantso iEFF ulutsha lusathembile

Ithi izibambile iyaqinisa

Sisakhangele ke noko

Amathemba asiwalahlanga

Ifuthe silibonile mbombo zone

Siyijongile i-Mind eMakhanda sakhwankqa

Besiba ayisekho kanti umhlola asiwazanga

Yeza ne-DA ayiqheliseli tu kwaphela

Gqi qhaphu MCF sele ingasa qheliseli

Kodwa umbuzo umi umi ngelithi

Hazi iyozala nkomoni na?

Umhla wokuqala kweyeNkanga ubekiwe

Zenenjanjalo ukufaka iingadla neenqwebeba

Ningabuyi sele nisithi

Nye, nyek’ebhasi, ebukhweni bezinja

Anina zingqondo!!!

Tsi!
