The 4th annual BUYEL’EKHAYA FASHION DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMME WORKSHOP on 10 AND 11 OCTOBER 2019 at the Miriam Makeba Centre of Performing Arts in East London was hugely successful.

The names and places of residence of the 10 selected young, successful beneficiaries of a 10-day mentorship programme with acclaimed fashion designer, Palesa Mokubung, at her Johannesburg studios from 21 October to 1 November 2019, are below:

  1. Wendy Nortey – East London
  2. Sinalo Tshaya – East London
  3. Gcaleka Thobile – Butterworth
  4. Khema Akhonke – Butterworth
  5. Holoholo Avumile – Butterworth
  6. Sikhabeu Vuyiswa – Butterworth
  7. Lindokuhle Monjane – Butterworth
  8. Cebolenkosi Shibe – Butterworth
  9. Yakhuxolo Mvambo – Butterworth
  10. Zalisile Stuurman – Butterworth
