The 2018/2019 Makana LFA League kick offs in September, with several teams looking strong and in with a shot at the title. Some returning clubs and wildcards should also provide some exciting soccer over the coming months.

Last season’s league went all the way down to the wire with the title only decided in the last game of the season– a thrilling 1-1 draw between the eventual winners City Pirates and runners up Jacaranda Aces.

Most teams have already started with their preparations for the new season which has all the ingredients of being the toughest ever; what with both Sakhulutsha and Eleven Attackers also back in the LFA.

On the other hand, Jacaranda Aces will be highly motivated by their second place finish achievement last season and will go all out this season. There are other dark horses; although the end of the season will see just one team gaining promotion to the SAB league.

Football fans cannot wait for kickoff with all the flying sparks from day one.
