Last weekend saw the conclusion of the Makana LFA under 17 league, which was eventually won by Jacaranda Aces. Aces will now represent the Makana region in the Engen u18 knockout tournament to be held in Port Elizabeth from 28 June to 01 July.

The players are excited and can not wait to share the field with best junior teams from all over Eastern Cape. The trophy was handed over to Aces by Makana LFA competitions chairman Mr Tsotsa who congragulated the boys on their achievement.

Meanwhile there were no LFA league games this past weekend, however soccer lovers will be treated to a feast of football this coming weekend as all three of our SAB regional league teams will be in action at Dlepu stadium. At 12:00 Maru will kick off the day against Young Pirates from Port Alfred. At 14:00 Eleven Attackers will face United Eleven from Bathurst and in the last game of the day at 16:00 Sakhulutsha will face Golden Chiefs from Alexandria.

Kwiveki edlulileyo, iqela lebhola ekhatywayo i-Jacaranda Aces, iye yazintshatsheli ezintsha ze-league yabanga phantsi kweminyaka elishumi elinesixhenxe. I-Aces izohamba iyomela lengingqi kwitumemte yabanga phantsi kweminyaka elishumi elinesibhozo, exhaswa ngabakwa-Engen. Indebe inikezelwe kubo nguMnumzana Tsotsa ongusihlalo wekomiti yokhuphiswano kwi-Makana LFA, oye wavuyisana nala makhwenkwe kwimpumelelo yawo. Khange kubekho midlalo ye-Makana LFA kule mpela-veki sisuka kuyo, kodwa ke kuzoba mnandi kubathandi bebhola kule mpela-veki nanjengoko omathathu amaqela aseMakana adlala kwi-league ye-SAB azobe edlalela apha ekhaya. Ngentsimbi yeshumi elinesibini malanga (12pm) i-Maru izobe idlala ne-Young Pirates yaseCawa, ize ilandelwe yi-Eleven Attackers ezodlala ne-United Eleven yase-Bhatisi ngentsimbi yesibini (2pm). Umdlalo wokugqjbela ngentsimbi yesine (4pm), i-Sakhulutsha izobe ivana amandla ne-Golden Chiefs yaseMnyameni.
