LIVE UPDATES: 1st team hockey – DSG vs. Kingswood

Update #1: Hello and welcome to our live coverage of this K-Day hockey clash between DSG and Kingswood at Webster Astro. Keep refreshing for all the latest updates.

Update #2: According to the programme, these are the teams:

Update #3: Nearly time for the action to begin. The teams are out on the field.

Update #4: Kingswood have got the game underway.

Update #5: DSG are playing without numbers on their backs.

Update #6: DSG are doing the early attacking. We’re in the fourth minute and there has not been any score.

Update #7: The first shot of the game is straight at the Kingswood keeper – a comfortable save.

Update #8: It’s still 0-0 in the 9th minute. The game has been relatively uneventful so far. DSG supporters are making most of the noise.

Update #9: Kingswood are proving a stern test for DSG, who have been one of the best sides in the country in recent years. It’s 0-0 with eight minutes left in the half.

Update #10: Still 0-0 with four minutes left of the half. It’s been an evenly-poised game with not many clear-cut chances.

Update #11: GOAL, DSG, 1-0! Right on the stroke of half-time, the home side opens the scoring.

Update #12: HALF-TIME: DSG 1-0 Kingswood.

Update #13: The second half is underway.

Update #14: Some fantastic last-ditch defending stops a DSG attack just in front of the Kingswood goal. The girls in red are fighting for their lives!

Update #15: We’re into the last fifteen minutes of the game and DSG still lead Kingswood 1-0.

Update #16: Kingswood are on the attack, having soaked up a wave of DSG pressure. They have just 10 minutes to save this game.

Update #17: Five minutes left of what has so far been a cagey encounter. Still 1-0 to DSG.

Update #18: GOAL, KINGSWOOD, 1-1! They have an equaliser! The scorer appears to be Emma Fraser, but we will confirm after the game.

Update #19: DSG so nearly grab a winner, but some alert goalkeeping denies them.

Update #20: FULL-TIME: DSG 1-1 Kingswood. A really tight contest, which Kingswood deservedly saved right at the death. More to follow on our website.
