The South African National Roads Agency SOC Limited (Sanral) has warned travellers that the resealing of the N2 from Wilsonia to the N6 will continue from today, 15 September until the end of October.
Resealing will continue on the east bound (to Butterworth/Mthatha) fast lane, approximately from the Western Avenue Bridge (Km13.2 road marker) to 2km past the North East Express Overpass (16.8km road marker).
All on-and-off ramps will remain open to traffic.
From 2pm today, Thursday, until 2pm on Monday, 19 September 2016, the east bound slow lane will be closed from the Western Avenue bridge (13.2km) to 2 km past the North East Express Overpass (16.8km).
The on-ramp to the N2 from the North East Express under-pass will be closed to all traffic from Saturday at 5pm to Sunday at 5pm.
The fast lane on the West Bound carriage way, towards King Williams Town, will be closed from 2pm today noon on Monday, 19 September from 2km before the North East Express Overpass (16.8km) to the Western Avenue Bridge (13.2km).
The on-and-off ramps will remain open to traffic.
