Blitzbok coach Neil Powell has said that he is happy with his side's draw for August's Olympic tournament in Rio.

South Africa were drawn into Pool B along with Australia, France, and Spain.

Reacting to the draw, Powell said: "I am pleased with our pool, but the reality is that you will have to respect every opponent, play every game at your best, and use your opportunities.

"We need to prepare well, because the other pools are also very competitive."

The men's tournament will take place between 9-11 August. The Blitzboks are seeded second out of 12 teams, behind only world champions Fiji.

The Blitzboks' final squad will be announced next month. Kingswood and Mary Waters old boy Rosko Specman and former St. Andrew's star Ryan Kankowski are still in the running, having made the training squad.

    Pools: (seeding in brackets)
