Colours for rugby

St Andrew’s College 1st team rugby players, Daniel Tiffin, Timothy Bloem, Sazi Sandi, Tom Stevens, Ross Ferguson and Matt More were recently awarded colours for rugby.

St Andrew’s College 1st team rugby players, Daniel Tiffin, Timothy Bloem, Sazi Sandi, Tom Stevens, Ross Ferguson and Matt More were recently awarded colours for rugby.

St Andrew’s awards colours to 1st team players who have started 10 or more matches for the 1st XV and the awards are based on performance as well as attitude both on and off the field.

Sazi Sandi – (Colours Re-Award) 28 caps for the 1st XV. He has been selected to the EPCD Craven Week team for a second year in a row and is vice-captain to this team. He has been an outstanding leader and a stand out player throughout the year.

Ross Ferguson – (Colours Award) 31 Caps for the 1st XV. Made his debut in 2014 and has been a consistent part of the 1st XV ever since. His performances this year have been of a high standard showing his quality throughout.

Daniel Tiffin – (Colours Award) 30 Caps for the 1st XV. He has played in every match since his selection to the 1st XV in 2015. He has been selected to the EPCD Academy Team and has been a stand out performer throughout the year.

Timothy Bloem – (Colours Award) 25 Caps for the 1st XV. Tim has been a consistent member of the 1st XV since his selection in 2015. His pace, work ethic and leadership has made him an integral part of the team. Tim has also been selected to the EPCD Craven Week Team.

Matt More – (Colours Award) 20 Caps for the 1st XV. He has been selected for the EPCD Craven Week team. He has produced some outstanding play this year and is a greatly improved rugby player from the one who made his debut last year.

Tom Stevens – (Colours Award) 12 Caps for the 1st XV. Tom has been one of the outstanding players in the team this year and were it not for his injury he would have been representing EP at Craven Week this year. He has shown that he has the ability to perform against the best and has been a stand out player and leader in the team throughout the season.
