The annual three-day PwC Great Zuurberg Trek mountain bike race takes place just outside Grahamstown from 3 to 5 June.

Grahamstown cyclist, Jason Meaton will line up with some of the top cyclists in the country as they vie for the title. Last year saw Meaton finish third overall. He will be hoping to improve on that this weekend.

Last year saw Meaton team up with Jurgens Uys from Cape Town.

For this weekend’s race, Meaton has teamed up with Steven Shirley who is a personal trainer based in Port Elizabeth.
