Organisers of the RMR Makana Green Fun Run are asking that motorists are on the lookout for athletes and marshals along the route of the run between 4.30 – 5.30pm on Sunday 1 May.

They say, "We would be grateful if motorists could pay attention to the needs of athletes along the route, and in the interests of safety, please yield to them – especially where they need to cross roads."

The event begins and ends at the Drostdy Arch at the top of the High Street and takes in Worcester and Fitzroy Streets, Albany Road, Anderson Street and then back on High, Dundas, Huntley and Thompson back up to the Arch.

You can see a detailed map of the route and find other information at www.ru.ac.za/greenliving/greenfunrun.
