The Belmont Valley MTB Challenge sponsored by Pam Golding Properties, Grahamstown promises to be a great day out for cyclists from all over.

The event takes place on Sunday 24 April.

Start and finish is at the Belmont Golf Club with three distances to choose from: the 70km Race, 40km Challenge and 15km Adventure.

The 70km starts at 7am. The Race and Challenge include 16km of Manley Flats trail and 4×4 track.

Organising Club Albany Saints and Sinners aims not only to offer a new event to attract cyclists to the area, but is also keen for the race to benefit the greater Grahamstown community.

Child Welfare Grahamstown is the charity partner for this year's race.

In addition a portion of entry fees for the longer 40 and 70km events using the Manley Flats Developing Trails are marked for the project.
