Sanral has warned of slow moving traffic until about 5pm on Saturday, 9 April on the N2 outside East London due to lane closures.

Sanral has warned of slow moving traffic until about 5pm on Saturday, 9 April on the N2 outside East London due to lane closures.

This will happen between the 16 200km and 15 200km road marks on the west-bound fast lane, at the North/East Express Way Interchange, the South African National Roads Agency Ltd said in a media release.

All on- and off-ramps will be open to traffic and there are no further lane closures on the east-bound carriage way, Sanral said.

“Motorists are urged to travel with caution and plan their trips in advance,” said Mbulelo Peterson, Sanral’s Southern Region manager.

"Sanral apologises for any inconvenience caused."
