Double header for Warriors

Nelson Mandela Bay cricket fans are in for a treat when the RamSlam T20 Challenge hots up with a double header day at St George’s Park Cricket Ground on Saturday 28 November. 

The first game starts at 2pm when the Sunfoil Dolphins and VKB Knights take to the field.

The first game starts at 2pm when the Sunfoil Dolphins and VKB Knights take to the field. 

The second match will start at 6pm when the home team, the Warriors will take on the Unlimited Titans. 

The RamSlam T20 Double Header weekend gets underway with a Let’s Talk Cricket evening on Friday 27 November in the St George’s Corporate Club, Duckpond Pavilion when franchise coaches, Malibongwe Maketa, Rob Walters (Titans), Nicky Boje, Alan Donald (Knights) and players Colin Ingram and Albie Morkel will have an interactive Q & A session with host Daron Mann.  The evening is free to cricket lovers (limited seats) and a cash bar will be available.

A fun filled family day awaits cricket fans on Saturday and there will be something for everyone.  Fans can get into the action with the BagJump, a chance to win a share of R1million should you take a single handed clean catch off a six, win prizes with the Dance Cam and a fully professionally manned Kiddies Area will also be open.

PE DJ’s Charlie T, DJ Spectrum and Luzuko Kemp will be providing the music during the break with a “Party round the Pitch” after the 2nd match when fans can take to the field and dance up a storm!

Tickets are on sale R90 for adults, R50 scholars and pensioners and a special student price of R70 (with a student card).  Corporates wishing to book a suite for the day can contact Leigh on 041 585 1646.  Gates open at 12pm and fans are reminded that they may bring in soft drinks (plastic bottles only) and food.  No alcohol will be allowed.
