The Under-15 defending champions City Pirates have had a bad start to their league defence having zero points in their account after two rounds.

The side didn’t pitch for last weekend’s match against Jacaranda, having lost the opening fixture to Future Stars.

Sophia Young Stars and Golden Brothers are currently sitting on six points each after wins against Young Eagles and Future Stars respectively.

Sakhulutsha are yet to register a point in the log so far after failing to honour their fixture for a second successive game.

Sophia Young Stars, Linge Stars and City Pirates share the top sport of the Under-13 league after two rounds.

Last weekend, matches played at Kutliso Daniels Sophia had a comfortable 2-0 win over Young Eagles, taking their goal tally to 10.

Linge, on the other hand, had a walkover against Sakhulutsha as the latter failed to honour their fixture.

That gave Linge the easiest of three points.

Pirates also won their first competitive game 3-1 against Jacaranda.

Pirates were awarded three points for a walkover a week before but made sure their full 90 on the pitch was a perfect result for them.

Current Under-15 log standings after two matches:

1. Sophia Young Stars 6pts
2. Golden Brothers 6pts
3. Future Stars 3pts
4. Young Eagles 3pts
5. Linge Stars 3pts
6. Jacaranda Aces 3pts
7. City Pirates 0pts
8. Sakhulutsha 0pts
