Kingswood College hosted Graeme College in this year's derby action. In the main event of the day, the 1st rugby match, Kingswood won 16-10.

Scorers for Kingswood were Joshua Shelley (2 penalties), while Shane Potgieter and Ezra Mager each scored a try.

For Graeme, Ntsika Ndungane scored a try and made a conversion, while Justice Tyatya put over 1 conversion.

The Kingswood College 1st Girls Hockey side finished their season on a perfect note with a double header weekend.

On Friday night, Kingswood said goodbye to their matrics with a fitting tribute in front of an enthusiastic crowd against Victoria Girls High School as part of the line-up of derby fixtures.

The VG side was up against a team that was emotionally inspired, in what would be their last match at home for many of the Kingswood girls.

Kingswood’s Honours players, Hannah Knott-Craig and Aimee-Leigh Pote, both scored in the match as Kingswood won 7-0.

On Saturday morning, Kingswood went on to beat Alexander Road 4-1 in Port Elizabeth.

Full match-reports in Friday print edition.
