    Brumbies lose to Kruisfontein

    Grahamstown Brumbies lost to Kruisfontein by 34-32 in their EP Grand Challenge competition on Saturday. Brumbies lead 17-10 at the half-time break, but could not hold on to their win.

    Grahamstown Brumbies lost to Kruisfontein by 34-32 in their EP Grand Challenge competition on Saturday. Brumbies lead 17-10 at the half-time break, but could not hold on to their win.

    Gardens and Spring Rose, among the top four teams in the EP Grand Challenge competition, both suffered setbacks in their league games on Saturday.

    African Bombers broke out of their slump of eight straight defeats when they beat Gardens 22-17 in Zwide, while Spring Rose went down to a high-riding Park side 17-3 at the New Brighton Oval.

    The weekend's results were:

    African Bombers beat Gardens 22-17

    Park beat Spring Rose 17-3

    Trying Stars beat Harlequins 18-17

    Kruisfontein beat Brumbies 34-32. -BB Media
