The driver of a water tanker that was delivering water to farms was killed and a passenger injured when he allegedly lost control of his vehicle on Saturday, 13 June.

The accident happened on the N2 in the direction of Port Elizabeth 10km out of Grahamstown, according to police spokesperson Captain Mali Govender.

She said the driver of the water tanker was fatally wounded when his vehicle overturned after he allegedly lost control of it. "The passenger is in a critical condition," she said.
