Dear Makana residents, In 2014 we saw the worst that could have happened to this city. At the same time we saw the birth of a new era of hope.

Dear Makana residents, In 2014 we saw the worst that could have happened to this city. At the same time we saw the birth of a new era of hope.

The commitment shown by all residents in rebuilding Makana is unequalled and unprecedented.

As we prepare to roll up our sleeves and work on building Makana we should take this festive season as a time to reflect and strengthen our common resolve.

Christmas is a time of love; sharing and giving.

Let's celebrate it with pride and spend it with our loved ones.

    Merry Xmas

    Pam Yako
