Four men are facing burglary charges after breaking into a Port Alfred road farm's shed, stealing geyser and copper pipes.

According to the Grahamstown police, the arrest came after the men, with ages ranging from 22 to 43, were spotted by farm workers and the owner.

Crime Intelligence Officer Milanda Coetzer said the men were arrested by members of the Grahamstown route patrol police.

"All the property was recovered in this case and the four suspects detained at Grahamstown cells.

One of the four men should have appeared in court on the same day also on a charge of burglary," Coetzer said.

The incident happened in the early hours of Thursday 6 November, Coetzer said.
