Makana Municipality Top 8 Knockout Competition, all matches take place at the Rhodes University Prospect Field: Premier division – 9am – Eleven Attackers vs Joza Callies, 11am – Makana Pillars vs Jacaranda Aces, 1pm – Pioneers vs Young Killers, 3pm – Linge Stars vs Santos.

First division – 9am – Rhodes University vs Golden Brothers, 11am – Shining Stars vs Hellenic, 1pm – Green Leaves vs Future Stars, 3pm – United Aces vs Makana Celtic.

Schools rugby league continues at the Oval. U15’s final between Mar Waters and Nyaluza at the Oval at 2.30pm. 1sts teams play at 4pm.

THURSDAY 2 OCTOBER

FUN RUN

The President’s Award for Youth Empowerment, host their annual Grahamstown Youth Committee 5km Fun Run/Walk. The event takes place from the Albany Sports Club at 5.30pm, registration from 4.30pm.
