The President's Award for Youth Empowerment Office has urged all those knitting blankets for the '67 Blankets for Madiba' initiative to deliver their completed blankets by Monday 30 June.
The President's Award for Youth Empowerment Office has urged all those knitting blankets for the '67 Blankets for Madiba' initiative to deliver their completed blankets by Monday 30 June.
Completed blankets must be delivered to the President's Award office at 51 New Street.
There each blanket will have a '67 Blankets for Madiba' label sewn onto it.
The blankets will be distributed on International Mandela Day, Friday 18 July, to organisations and individuals identified by the Grahamstown Youth Committee.
Each blanket will have a card, sponsored by DupliPrint, identifying who made the blanket.
Where: Please drop off your completed blanket/s at The President’s Award for Youth Empowerment Offices, 51 New Street, Grahamstown by 30 June.The President’s Award, through their local Youth Committee will distribute the blankets on Mandela Day: Friday 18 July 2014.
