ANC, DA lead local election results

Queues were short, tempers were even, official were efficient and altogether voting went smoothly in the city on Wednesday 7 May. The Grocott's Mail team visited voting stations all over Makana, and now we bring you local election results by ward.

Queues were short, tempers were even, official were efficient and altogether voting went smoothly in the city on Wednesday 7 May. The Grocott's Mail team visited voting stations all over Makana, and now we bring you local election results by ward.

On a national level, the ANC won 62.15% of the vote with the DA coming second (22.23%) and the EFF, third (6.35%).
